Welcome to Mjölknabben - a campsite with an atmosphere of wilderness where you can get close to nature. Located in the middle of the cultural landscape Åsnen, a stone's throw from the national park's main entrance. Mjölknabben is a place of peace, something that many of us long for. And yet it offers all the conveniences of a modern campsite.

CAMPING ON MJÖLKNABBEN
The Mjölknabbens Camping is situated on the shore of lake Åsnen on the island of Sirkön with it´s wonderful scenery. Around the camping there are grazing land, meadows and mixed forest. In the morning you are awakened by the merry song of small birds. In the evening you can have a barbecue at one our fire- places and hear the black- throated diver´s calls across the lake and enjoy the peace and tranquility.
RENT A COTTAGE WITH US
With us you can find smaller cottages for just one night or a "whole" house for accommodation for a few weeks. We have tent sites right down by the water and campsites on four floors with or without electricity. Whatever you decide on, you always get close to nature and tranquility. Many who have found our oasis at Åsnen will return. Often.
EXPERIENCE NATURE
TOURIST AROUND ÅSNEN
On Sirkön there are many small farms. We mostly grow fruit and vegetables. The are also some meadows. In May when all the fruit- trees are in blossom the scenery becomes a white sea of blossoms. Imagine strolling around in springtime when the light green leaves are freshly sprung, and the sun rays filter through the foliage after a quiet rain with all the smells released.
ACTIVITIES
Mjölknabbens Camping lets you get close to nature in a peaceful, relaxing way. Rent a rowing boat or canoe and set off into the picturesque scenery around Lake Åsnen.
AMY'S CAFÉ
For many hours of the day, you are welcome to come in for a coffee and fresh-baked goodies (wrapped in portion packs). The café is open to everyone, whether or not they are guests at the campsite, so don’t miss the opportunity to relax and enjoy the view of Lake Åsnen. We hope to see you here!
